Just read your blog comments. Your thoughtfulness and relection are welcoming. As my running-around friend years ago, I realized even then that you were a good fellow and a friend to keep. You’re inate goodness showed though.

John, it is Easter Sunday and a great day to reflect on the power of prayer. In his letter to the Philippians (Philippians 4:4-7) the Apostle Paul tells us, “…Always be joyful, then, in the Lord; I repeat, be joyful. Let your good sense be obvious to everybody. The Lord is near. Never worry about anything; but tell God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition shot through with gratitude, and the peace of God which is beyond our understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” The Al-Anon slogan, “Let go and let God” is so true.

Thanks Al,

I really appriciate your reminding me of these scriptures. Puting them into context and sharing them in a no noncense way that can be realised by this simple application.

Prayer, or fellowship with GOD, talking with him and being his friend was what Adam was placed on earth for. I wonder if that is why this practice has so much of a healing effect.
